One of Miami's most talented wedding photographers, Martha Ramirez, has gone from best local photographer to world's finest and we're only a quarter of the way into 2010. In January, Martha received the news that she had been awarded "Best of Photography" in her city. A few weeks later, she receives an unexpected surprise. She was chosen, amongst the few considered, as "World's Finest Photographers". Martha is a graduate of the Film School at the University of Miami and shortly after graduation, became a commercial producer. After 8 years of production and the birth of her children, she found her calling and left production to pursue a photography career.
"I was brought up surrounded by film, television and scripts, so I knew my future would definitely be in the communication/arts field. I just had no idea the impact I would have on people and how much joy my "job" would bring me. I can not envision myself doing anything, but photography," Ramirez says.
She currently owns UDS Photo, a fully staffed studio, whichthis year will be photographing it's 500's wedding, since it's opening in 2001. It is currently the highest grossing studio in the entire Southeast Region and continues to be the most sought after "trend setter" in the area.
